Gold from the Deep is part of Between Surface and Light – a body of work exploring water through an alternative chromatic translation. Using the same, consistent color transformation across the entire series, familiar surfaces begin to read like something newly revealed: currents become structure, reflections become depth, and the ordinary turns quietly otherworldly.
In this frame, a warm, gold presence appears to rise from within the water’s blue-violet field – not as a literal scene, but as an emergence.
