Description
Submerged Oasis is part of my Between Surface and Light series – an attempt to see water differently. Using a single, consistent chromatic transformation applied across the entire body of work, familiar surfaces shift into an unexpected spectrum, revealing water as something more than a transparent medium: a living field of color, depth, and motion. What is normally overlooked becomes vivid – almost otherworldly – inviting the viewer to question what they are seeing, and how many ways water might truly be seen.
In this image, a bright enclave gathers beneath the surface like a miniature reef – gold and ultramarine pooling into a small sanctuary. Blue silhouettes drift through the current, as if orbiting this concentrated pocket of vitality: a submerged oasis suspended in flow.
